The expertise ICC has developed in accessing tall structures and restoring historic structures can be applied to perform a lighthouse inspection or examine a tall structure.
All rigging, lifts, platforms and man lifts are supplied by ICC and operated by trained staff to OSHA standards during a lighthouse inspection project. An inspection and conditions report of such a structure requires careful assessment of the damage done by time and harsh conditions; a sound knowledge of the original construction techniques; and experience with working under the Secretary of the Interior's "Standards".
The subsequent conditions assessment report includes photographic documentation of the current condition of the structure itemizing and prioritizing deficiencies, and detailed proposed repairs with associated costs.
