Our engineering discipline has always been directed towards deadweight structure relocation such as large masonry smoke stacks and it was a natural extension to develop the Historical Division to address the relocation of tall, large or delicate historical structures.
ICC company has moved historical stuctures of many shapes, sizes and materials. All structure relocation has involved meticulous engineering, careful documentation and planning with detailed drawings and written procedures that detail bracing and reinforcing of historical fabric.
On many occasions we have worked in conjunction with the expertise, equipment and manpower of other structure relocation companies, but ICC maintains full responsibility for the contract management, engineering, documentation, field supervision, insurance and any required bonding for all work. We also provide most field labor in compliance with local requirements and unions.
